CLIL @ 2024 Intensive Chinese Network (ICN) Workshop
Russell Cross and Kris Sapetora both recently spoke the 2024 Intensive Chinese Network (ICN) Workshop, featuring work being done within the Lab on CLIL.
Russell’s keynote focused on the new insights gained from the recent research on CLIL teacher dispositions, and its impact when there’s an emphasis on either content or language in actual practice. Kris’s guest workshop delved into the practical aspects of CLIL, providing provided hands-on activities and interactive discussions that allowed participants to experience CLIL methodologies firsthand.
The day underscored the value of researcher-teacher collaboration, and continuous professional development for educators, and both presentations sparked great discussion.
